Nutritional Therapy

Certain tests may require interpretation for you to make the most of your result. This interpretation can be provided by doctors or by a nutrition therapist.

If you require help locating a practitioner in your locality the laboratory will be able to assist you.

What you might expect from a nutrition consultation

Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutritional science in the promotion of optimum health, peak performance, disease prevention and patient care.

The process starts with a confidential consultation where a thorough investigation into your medical history will be taken and evaluated. The consultant will then suggest necessary steps needed to improve your health, this may include what are the most appropriate tests.

Follow-up appointments will take into account the results of any biochemical and functional tests you may have done and full dietary and lifestyle programme will be recommended as well as supplementation if necessary.

All patients receive follow up care and continual assessments of health status, and as a patient you are permitted to contact your practitioner with any questions. Follow up appointment are usually advised to assess progress and make adjustments.
